GMF improves funding for transportation projects

Twenty-four leaders in sustainable transportation from across Canada helped FCM to better focus GMF funding opportunities in this sector. The group met in Ottawa in February 2008 to review the value and impact of GMF grants and low-interest loans for capital projects related to sustainable transportation.

2008 FCM Sustainable Communities Mission: Success in B.C.!
From August 17 to August 22, 2008, a delegation of municipal decision-makers visited leading sustainable community development projects in British Columbia on the FCM Sustainable Communities Mission. The delegation toured sites in Vancouver, Squamish, Whistler, Sidney, and Victoria.
