GMF has recently released comprehensive research reports on issues, trends, emerging technologies, and current and best practices in four sectors of municipal activity. The energy sector research report covers all aspects of energy supply and use, such as energy services and technologies, energy generation, and energy storage, distribution and supply.
Another new addition to the GMF website is an overview of energy programs for municipalities provided by Natural Resources Canada (NRCan). The Natural Resources Canada Program Overview highlights the financial assistance, tools and training available to municipalities for existing and new buildings, community planning, municipal residents, technicians and industry.
